Membership in this prestigious group is updated annually based on initial examination and subsequent re-measurements.

This premier event in fire and life safety was attended by thousands of individuals seeking to view and learn about the latest developments in fire retardant technology.

Memphis, TN (June 15, 2011): Buckman is announcing a global price increase on all products and programs of up to 20%. Pricing adjustments will depend on the specific product or program and region of the world. Increases will be effective July 1, 2011. This price increase, which is driven by mounting raw material, transportation, and energy costs, will enable Buckman to continue to provide the high quality service and support that our customers expect. Buckman will work closely with customers to leverage our innovative practices and unique application expertise in an effort to defray the impact of these increases.

Memphis, TN (November 5, 2010):

Local manufacturer Buckman is hosting an in-house Volunteer Fair/Tree Planting for all Memphis employees on Friday, November 5, at the corporate headquarters on 1256 N. McLean Blvd. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. employees of the company will plant 54 trees on vacant lots owned by Buckman in the immediate neighborhood. Trees and mulch are provided by the firm, with employees supplying the muscle for this green venture.

Memphis, TN (October 8, 2010):

At a special award ceremony on October 5, the Brazilian Pulp & Paper Association (ABTCP) named Buckman, located in Campinas, Sao Paulo, as the Best Chemical Supplier of the Year for the Pulp & Paper segment. General Manager Carmen Rodrigues accepted the award on behalf of Buckman. This award was the result of a survey conducted among the top pulp and paper companies in Brazil, which gave Buckman the winning endorsement. Buckman was chosen by many pulp and paper companies for its innovative products, technical support, and problem-solving skills. Effective October 1, Robert P. Quarles will become director, strategic marketing for the newly created Strategic Marketing Department in Buckman's U.S. operations. The Strategic Marketing Department, consisting of product managers and product specialists from every Buckman USA sales division, will manage all product lines, develop marketing strategies, and conduct market research/analysis for Buckman USA.
