Memphis, TN (May 17, 2011): Over the years, Buckman has made an impressive showing in the rankings of Training magazine's Top 125 training organizations. This year we claimed the 62 spot, up seven places from last year. That puts us in the top half and ahead of household names like FedEx Express, MasterCard Worldwide, Choice Hotels, and Century 21. For 2011, companies were judged on their ability to achieve specific corporate goals and show demonstrable results. Other important factors included employee turnover and retention, leadership development, tuition assistance, and training technology and infrastructure. Buckman was recognized specifically for our global teams and workgroups that facilitate best practice sharing, our insistence on face-to-face meetings and one-on-ones, and our dedication to intercompany communication. Of course, if you know anything about Buckman, you know that we place great emphasis on employee development, the exchange of knowledge and information, and the fostering of transformational leadership skills. Only when our associates grow better and stronger can we expect our company to do the same. Here are our Training Top 125 rankings for the last 5 years: 2011 62 "Top companies," the magazine said, "realize how vital training is to their success and continue to invest in it, even in trying times." Congratulations to all of us—those of us who train and those of us who learn. You can read more about the Training Top 125 at http://www.trainingmag.com/article/training-reveals-rankings-2011-top-125
