NEMATODES

While not unicellular organisms, nematodes, because of their minute size and lack of skeletal structure may be confused with other microorganisms. They are frequently isolated along with microorganisms from soil and fresh water as well as from marine and brackish waters.

Suggested methods for slide preparation:
1) wet mount

2) crystal violet

3) lactofuchsin or phenol cotton blue
