I. Wet mount

A. Materials

1. Sample to observe
2. Microscope slides
3. Cover glasses

B. Procedures

1. Place a drop of the sample in the center of the slide with your inoculating loop.
2. Cover the drop with a clean cover glass.
3. Observe the preparation under the low power and high dry lenses of your microscope.
