Product Details
Bufloc 5031 is a polyamine product from Buckman that offers a wide range of functionalities and benefits in paper making processes. Its high charge density makes it one of the best technologies for charge modifications in paper machine wet ends. Bufloc 5031 is also used for pitch and stickies control by fixation, polyamine prevents inanimate deposits from bonding or agglomerating which minimize operational and production issues. It is also used as a charge neutralizer and adhesive control agent in paper manufacturing applications.
Bufloc 5031 is a liquid polymer that retains its effective charge over a wide pH range making it effective in filler and fine retention applications throughout the paper manufacturing processes. It is excellent for pigment fixation and dye retention applications. The multi-functional benefits of Bufloc 5031 makes it ideal chemistry for use in several parts of the process with high synergy with other chemistries used in the processes. Bufloc 5031 can also be used in removing inanimate organics and color from recirculating or effluent streams in pulp and paper mills.
Bufloc 5031 or its equivalent from Buckman is available in NA, EMENA, LATAM, APAC, China, and South Africa/Sub-Saharan Africa. Contact us to inquire for the product specific to your location.
