Product Details

Bulab 6002 from Buckman is a polyquat or polyquaternium 60% concentration microbicide that is used to control algae, bacteria, fungi and mollusks in industrial cooling water and industrial process water systems; control bacteria in industrial water cooling systems; and to inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause degradation of cutting fluids. It is a microbicide that is based on polyquat or polyquaternium 60% concentration and offers exceptional microbial control and non-foaming properties, making it excellent for use in a wide range of water disinfection applications. The water-soluble cationic polymer is an excellent algaecide for use in cooling and process water systems including cooling towers and air washers, while also serving as an effective molluscicide.

Bulab 6002 is highly effective over a wide pH range, odorless, and non-foaming, unlike traditional quaternary ammonium compounds. It also carries ANSI/NSF approvals for use in drinking water applications. The microbiocide is an excellent choice for the control of aerobic bacteria, fungi, algae, anaerobic bacteria, and sulfate-reducing bacteria found in commercial and industrial water systems. Bulab 6002 is also effective as a molluscide to prevent fouling by mollusks, such as Corbicula fluminea, when used at concentrations as low as 2 ppm. It is effective with or without the use of chlorine. The broad efficacy of Bulab 6002 makes it suitable for use in cooling towers, industrial fresh water systems, Molluscide, Industrial Air Washing Systems, and Cutting Fluids.
